The Bothy

It’s comfortable, characterful, and finished to the highest standard. In the garden, we’ve built an outdoor kitchen (made traditionally, using no nails) complete with a Green Egg barbecue and there’s a private Swedish wood-fired hot tub, too.

The Bothy sleeps two in a luxury king-sized bed. Beyond the bedroom there is an inviting kitchen, diner and lounge area and a bathroom with a shower. It sits adjacent to The Old Lodge which dates from the 1700s and is the oldest house on Glen Dye by some way.

Guests will have full access to The Glen Dye Arms, a BYOB pub complete with a roaring log fire and record player. You can also make use of the amazing wood-fired sauna. We have seasonal vegetables from our very own garden, and eggs from our hens. There’s a well-stocked shop in the office, where you can find a curated collection of store cupboard staples, fresh local meat, fish and homemade ready meals. You’ll also be able to get hold of necessities such as firelighters and midge repellent, as well as some staple souvenirs to remember your stay.
