Enjoy a meditative and creative class at Glen Dye
Natural Ink Workshop
This meditative workshop begins with a guided forage for natural ink-making materials led by Artist Naomi Mcintosh and guide Katy Fennema, who will share the hidden world of plants, looking at their past and present uses as inks, food and medicine, and their role in history and folklore.
Please note, this is an exclusive experience for you and your group (minimum 6 people) and needs to be booked as a group at least four weeks before your stay.

Together, we will wander through the woods surrounding Glen Dye tuning in to the sounds, textures, and sensations of being immersed in nature. This slow and mindful experience invites participants to notice the tactile and sensory richness of the landscape.
Then, we will transform the gathered materials into natural inks and create expressive drawings, not of what we see but of what we feel. Guided by the smells, sounds, and textures of the natural world, this process offers an opportunity to deepen awareness and reconnect body, material, and place.
