A BEAUTIFULLY PROPORTIONED GEORGIAN HOUSE.
Built in the late 1890s this semi-detached house was originally home to the caretakers who tended Glen Dye Lodge. In 2018 it underwent a complete top-to-bottom refurbishment. It sleeps six in two king size beds and two singles. Large kitchen/dining room, large hallway, large sitting room. Two bathrooms, two loos. No detail has been overlooked to make this a perfect holiday home.
North Lodge sits on the banks of the River Dye, Venture along a private footpath that winds its way alongside the river and the Summerhouse, and you will find the River Cabin and your own outdoor haven. It has everything you need for a day or evening of outdoor mucking around, wild swimming and cooking, including a wood burning stove and a Big Green Egg (possibly the best barbecue in the world). It also has its own Swedish wood-fired hot tub (the best in the world, we think) in floodlit woodland.
“I stayed in the 1898 North Lodge and it was a total dream, sleeping six people with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. From the minute you arrive you feel at home and once you get the fire going you can seriously switch off.”
