North Lodge &
River Cabin

Built in the late 1890s this semi-detached house was originally home to the caretakers who tended Glen Dye Lodge. Venture along a private footpath that winds its way alongside the river and the Summerhouse, and you will find the River Cabin and your own outdoor haven.

Glen Dye - The Sawmill

The Sawmill
at Glen Dye

The ultimate outdoors retreat. You will sleep in a giant bed in a fully refurbished 1955 Airstream Safari caravan nestling in a small pine wood beside the sawmill’s fast flowing lade and a few metres away from your kitchen, dining and sitting room in a wonderful 1800s wooden building.

No 4 Steading Cottage

This semi-detached house was designed by Young Architects of the Year NORD in 2012 as part of a full conversion of a set of then derelict Victorian farm buildings. It is heated by a central wood chip burner and was built to a strong aesthetic and environmental brief.
