Built in the late 1890s, this semi-detached house was originally home to the caretakers who tended Glen Dye Lodge.

In 2018 it underwent a complete refurbishment. It sleeps six in two king size beds and two singles. Large kitchen/dining room, large hallway, large sitting room. Two bathrooms, two loos.

North Lodge sits on the banks of the River Dye. Venture along a private footpath to find your private River Cabin. It has everything you need for outdoor mucking around, swimming and cooking, including a wood burning stove and a Big Green Egg. It also has its own Swedish wood-fired hot tub.

You also have full access to The Glen Dye Arms, a BYOB pub with a roaring log fire and record player.

You can also use our amazing wood-fired sauna.

We have seasonal vegetables available from our garden. There are eggs from the Glen Dye hens and you will find these in the shop in the office, where we also have a carefully curated collection of food, basics and and homemade ready meals, and more prosaic things like firelighters, poo bags and midge repellent. And of course a collection of souvenirs to remember your stay by.

“We always wanted to create a holiday business, to welcome people to this unusually wonderful place. And we knew that we wanted to do things really well, to be world class; original, unusual, beautiful, comfortable.”
